ME and my identities in life
Im a 24 year old husband and father, i was raised primarily by my mother, as my parents split when i was young, but was fortunate enough to have my father in my life as well. Of course the real reason i am who i am today is all the great family and friends that helped me along the way and gave such good advice. I have been married 2.5 years now and a father just over 1.5 years, both my wife and son are the pride and joy of my life. I am a man of many big dreams and desires but to ever get to reach those is the challenge. I have two main hobbies in life one of which is on the back burner currently, they are Aquariums and Hound Hunting. i keep a 75 Gal tank with two Oscars, a Jack Dempsey, and Spotted Sail Fin Plecostums, it is the hobby that is on the back burner and i say this cause when i had my last tank a 55 gal I let it take control of my life and so with this one i treat my fish very well but don't get as extreme as my weekly water changes and every week going in to the local fish shops to see what new fish they have. Lol, yes I got that addictied to it. As for my other hobby is the two family dogs my wife has a 13 inch Tri colored Beagle stud, and i have a 4 month old Plott Blue Tick Coonhound cross, she looks like a blood hound though. I am working them both on a coon drag and they seem to be doing good I doubt i will ever really take the Beagle out much though. One of my dreams is, when i retire from the Air Force in 19 years (lol i know its a long time out) is to open a little Aquarium/ Pet Shop for fish and dogs mostly and call it Fish and Paws. I think it would be a nice thing to do with my life. Now that i have bored you with that lets tell you a little more bout where i am and stand in life today. I grew up in Kaysville UT till i was 12 then we moved to little quite old Henefer UT where I graduated from North Summit High School in 05. I then went out and preached for two years for the LDS church in the Spokane WA area meeting alot of cool people the best one being my wife, upon returning to UT, my sweetheart was waiting for me and a week to the day later we where married. Two months later though we never really felt like we fit in there in Henefer and move to Idaho where after a year of struggling through this economy i decided in order to provide for my family i must join the Air Force which was kind enough to give me my first pick of bases right back to good ol Spokane. Knowing some will ask, no i do not practice the LDS religion anymore i feel that in large it has gotten away from what it truely should be about. I am a Christian and will say if more people would slow down in life and realize that all the worldly things we think we need are just road blocks. I mean think about it our civilization has changed so much in the last 100 years what happened to having a nice front porch where one could sit and enjoy life and good company. Yes i know i am guilty of rushing through life not taking the time to take my nieghbors loving advice as i would fly by her house of "Slow the F down" thank you VB for that wish i had taken it sooner. I mean really on base our speed limit through housing is 15 mph but in your nieghbor hood how fast do you drive are you going slow enough that when your nieghbor out grabing the morning paper waves you see it and wave back or are you to wrapped up in your own life to notice? And really think about it God know each and every one of us is different just as us parents or even pet owners knows that our kids and pets are not all the same. I really do not believe the bar is the exact same for all of us in life and it truely is up to only him to decide so please don't judge but support each other in life and how people wish to live thier lives after all they are the ones that answer to God about it not you. I will step down from my soap box now and end this post by saying thank you to each and every one of you that has had a part in making me who i am today. Feel free to comment or ask questions any time.
